Hey,

I have a number of scripts, docs, dumps, etc for the eee/linux with a heavy emphasis on free software. You may find them useful:

ftp://ftp.blagblagblag.org/pub/BLAG/developers/jebba/eee/
ftp://ftp.blagblagblag.org/pub/BLAG/developers/jebba/eee/free_software/bin/

Have fun,

@austyn - I'm loolking to use Fedroa on native Asus eee hardware. I can easily connect it to a bigger external screen but you are missing the poing.

@loupgaroublond - I'm using Fedora 9 Preview, no hacking on my side. I tried to use LVM as that is what anaconda sets up by default (with ext3) but that didn't work so I manually created partition and formated it through anaconda as ext3.

Are you just using an ext2/ext3 filesystem or did you hack out the installer a bit to use something like JFFS or another flash oriented file system?

I have an EEE PC i want to have set up before LinuxTag for a friend. I'll try to keep you posted if I figure out something better than your setup.
