Web of Trust (WOT) is also a great addon which helps one avoid sucky websites. It’s a must for me.

Here is one good way to shrink your tabs posted on lifehacker the other day

Quick plug for one of my favorites, It’s All Text:

Especially if you do a lot of wiki editing with HTML typing boxes, this is a lifesaver.

I also use Flashblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433) so I can
individually enable each flash item on a page. It can get confused when a Flash
element is used to launch another Flash app.
