I was looking at some books at print.google.com and browsing google.com for some google hacks, and I came about this site. Here the author shows us some hacks for print.google but what is even more interesting is that there is a link to an article explaining how to hack print.google into automatically making pdf from the whole book. But the server on which this article was hosted had recently crashed!?! Accident or has the Google went on a rampage? I don’t know… but it sounds suspicious. There is an article saying that GregDuffy.com (where this article appeared) appears to have been removed from the entire Google index!
Ok, so it is maybe too paranoid to blame Google, but I would like to hear what you think about this. And if anybody can reproduce this “make pdf” hack please do it and leave the link for it in the comments, and we’ll see if we were paranoid for no reason :)
